 Hengsthaltung Ludwig Kathmann, a renowned stallion station in Vechta/northern Germany, is looking for a suitable rider and a working student to complete their young and motivated team.
Hengsthaltung Ludwig Kathmann was the home of such famous stallions like Silvio, Futuro, Feiner Stern, Goldstern, Florencio. Nowadays it stands four stallions such as Bon’a Parte, 4th in his 70 day-test of Adelheidsdorf with 10.0 for trot or the the black Londonderry-son London Lightning who was licensed in Vechta 2009. The station cooperates with Team Nijhof from the Netherlands and Blue Hors from Denmark and offers semen of Blue Hors Romanov, Johnson, Florencio, Don Romantic and many others.
We are looking for a highly motivated rider to train, school and compete young horses up to L /M-level. The focus is set on 3 and 4 years old dressage prospects – every year there is a big number of young horses to be broken in. S/he should be able to prepare young mares and stallions for show events and licensings, and ready to help at events like stallion shows, foal shows and mare registrations. Experience in these points would be great. Daily duties include stable chores, grooming, braiding, feeding and training.
 We are looking for a person who is able to train horses from the youngest age up to the Bundeschampionat-Qualification. We are looking for a team-player who rides with feeling and enjoys presenting horses for clients and at competitions. The candidate should be prepared to help out at all kinds of work that may come up at a studfarm. S/he will get lessons from a successful S-rider.
We offer a nice room in a shared appartement at our farm and breakfast and lunch with the team prepared by the family. Driving license also for trucks is necessary. The candidate should be able to start soon. We speak german and English.
