Daylight showed off her talent and potential for dressage from an early age. She easily qualified for the 2005 and 2006 Bundeschampionate (German Young Dressage Pony Championships). In 2005 the 4-year old Daylight won the qualification round with 8.20 and became reserve champion after the finals.

In 2006 she won the BuCha qualifier of Duisburg convincingly and at the Bundeschampionate, she ranked third in the qualification round with an 8.0 score and eventually finished fifth in the 5-year old dressage pony finals.

In 2007, Daylight was then furthered in her training towards FEI Pony level. In Germany this lovely chestnut mare was trained and competed by Lydia Camp, the 2006 European Pony Champion. Daylight then sold to England where she and her 15-year old rider qualified for the Novice Regionals with scores round 70% against adult professionals. At the Elementary Regional Qualifier Daylight achieved 69% and at Hickstead Premier League Elementary competition she also got 69% (in a field against top professional adults).

At her first outing in 2010, Daylight scored 69.30% in the FEI Pony Individual Test. This mare is in top shape and ready to be a competitor at this year's European Pony Championships

Daylight is a sensitive and elegant mare with a super talent for the highest level of pony dressage. She has three outstanding basic gaits, which is proven by her super scores at the Bundeschampionate, and she is now schooling FEI Pony level at home. With regular training over the winter, her potential will realized and she will be the one to watch in the international FEI Pony show ring in 2010.

She is known as the ‘School Prefect‘ in the arena as she always concentrates on her work and tries very hard to please you! She is willing and responsive to the aids and enjoys her work. She loves being groomed and has perfect stable manners. She hacks out and loves being turned out daily.

Daylight is a kind and generous pony with undoubtable talent, but due to time and circumstance (owner rides more ponies and horses and school commitments) her potential has remained untapped. She will absolutely be the future star of a devoted rider. Daylight is a sensitive and intelligent mare which would perfectly suit older pony riders or talented younger ones. She will lead any ambitious pony rider into the winner's circle.
