Danao is a delightful German Reitpony gelding trained at the highest FEI pony level and competed nationally as well as internationally. This dark bay gelding is an uncomplicated, easy going FEI Pony which can take any child into the champion's ring.

Danao has been with the same owner for the past 7 years and has taken two children into the FEI Pony ring. He has been trained under professional supervision of French international Grand Prix riders Dominique Brieussel and Stéphanie Collier.

As Danao has been based in France he mainly competed at national level and regularly had to ride against horses due to a lack of FEI pony classes. He has been a very consistent performer achieving average scores round 68%. At the national show in Jablines in October 2009, Danao won the test with 68,929%. In July he won the national show in Jardy with 71,417%. One month before he scored 66,50% at the national event in L'Isle Adam. At the national in Fountainbleau he achieved 67,708%, was second with 68,199% and won the same weekend with 68,690%. Most recently he competed at the international CDI in Biarritz, France, and won the individual test (64.737%) as well as the Kur to music (69.200%).

Danoa is an ideal schoolmaster for children to be introduced into the FEI Dressage pony world. He has three very solid basic gaits with an excellent walk and canter and a very cadenced trot. He knows all the FEI pony movements and can perform them auto-pilot. This pony is easy to ride, safe to handle and has fantastic stable manners.
