Bonita, Price Highlight at 2007 Hanoverian Winter Auction

Bonita became the price highlight of the 2007 Hanoverian Winter Auction in Verdern on January 27, 2007. The bay mare by Baroncelli x Hitchcock x Windhuk (breeder: Otto Rudolf Fuchs, Meinerzhagen, exhibitor: Bollhorst GbR and Paul Mertens, Wetschen) sold for 88,000 to the Baden Wurttemberg area.
The highest price for a jumper was 31,000 euro and obtained by two horses: Landstreicher by Levisto x Witbooi (breeder and exhibitor: Günther Reek, Lüchow) and Asti by As di Villagana x Corso (breeder: Marlies Klingenberg, Nordleda, exhibitor: Wilhelm Ayecke, Otterndorf). Both horses were sold to Bavaria.
In total 128 horses sold over the auction, achieving an average price of 14,320 euro, which is a record for this Verden Winter Auction. The biggest foreign buyer was the U.S.A which purchased 13 horses, followed by Italy with 10 horses, 9 went to Sweden and 8 to Spain.
