140,000 euro, New Record for Verden Winter Auction

Verden Winter Auction140,000 euro, that is the new price record achieved at a winter auction of Hanoverian sport horses in Verden. A jumping fan from Rhineland purchased the mare Grafinia (by Graf top x Narew xx) for that amount of money and set a new record for the Verden Winter Auction.

The second most expensive horse was the dressage mare Frigga S (by Fabriano x Weltmeyer) who sold for 50,000 euro to Angela Hoeber (owner of Cherie). The all rounder Rossini (by Rotspon x Pinkus) and the mare Waldfee (by Weltruhm x Warkant) both sold for 29,000 euro.

87 of the 131 auctioned horses will travel abroad to 13 different countries. The average price for a horse at the 2005 Hanoverian Winter Auction in Verden was 11,839 euro.
