Dodoma Price Highlight of 2003 Verden Summer Auction
July 29, 2003
With
an average auction sales price of 11,481 € for
79 horses sold, the Hanoverian Association achieved
its so far best result at a summer auction. The dressage
prospect Dodoma by Donnerhall/Pik Bube (breeder: Annelie
Klusmann, Westerstedte) was the price highlight with
a knock down price of 33,000 €. The brown mare
will find her new home in the stable of the trainer
and former member of the auction team Jörn Kubelke in
Nienburg.
Magic Air by Metternich/Aircraft (breeder: Kai Speckmann,
Friedrichshafen - exhibitor: Alfred Janssen, Südbrookmerland)
was the most expensive show jumping horse and the second
best on the price spectrum. Buyers from Canada paid
24,000 € for him.
38 horses were sold to foreign countries which makes
an export rate of nearly 50%. Ten Hanoverian horses
will move to North-America, six to the Netherlands,
five to Great Britain and each four to Spain, France
and Italy. Three riding horses will find their new home
in Belgium and each one in the Czech Republic and in
