Probably one of the best horses in the 2004 PSI auction collection. Damenwahl is an absolutely awe inspiring dressage horse descending out of the greatest bloodline combination in Germany: Donnerhall x Weltmeyer x Rubinstein. Damenwahl was 2004 Oldenburg Champion and finished third at the 2004 Bundeschampionate. This mare has three phenomenal gaits combined with the best temperament.
Damenwahl is by the great Donnerhall, an Oldenburg stallion by Donnerwetter x Markus, who won team gold at the 1994 World Equestrian Games and team gold and individual bronze at the 1998 World Equestrian Games. Donnerhall is considered to be one of the most important dressage sires in the world passing on excellent gaits and rideability.
Damenwahl's dam sire is Weltmeyer, the 1998 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. Weltmeyer is a foundation sire for the Hanoverian breed, having produced an uncountable amount of licensed offspring, state premium mares and sport horse champions. Weltmeyer is known for passing on strong, engaged hindquarters and rhythm.
