Appearance is a lovely Oldenburg bred mare with an extraordinary femine appearance in the ring due to her three outstanding, refined basic gaits and her wonderful looks.

Appearance is sired by Abanos, who is by the Bundeschampionate champion Alabaster. Abanos was the reserve champion in his stallion performance test and passes on great elasticity and athleticism in his movements.

Appearance's dam sire is the Trakehner foundation stallion Consul. The impressive characteristic of Consul get is their great uniformity. More than 30 upper level dressage horses are proof of Consul's dressage talent genes. A total of 320 Consul get were and still are successful in the show ring, giving their sire a dressage index of 120, and a jumping index of more than 100, making him a reliable sport horse producer. As a result, he was given the title of "Elite Stallion" in 1996, and was proclaimed "Stallion of the Year" in 1997.
