Lili Marlene is by the top sire Lord Sinclair who has consistently been of the top producing stallions in Germany. Lord Sinclair sired the 2004 Bundechampionate champion FS Lord Loxley and was himself a double winner at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf under Miriam Henschke.

Dam sire Langata Express xx is a thoroughbred stallion who has infused the necessary nobility and refinement into Lili Marlene's pedigree. Langata Express xx has proven himself to be a very valuable dam sire. The 2004 World Championships' bronze medallist Amidou, ridden by Dr. Ulf Möller, was by Alcatraz out of a Langata Express xx dam.
