The fourth edition of performance
Plus was a huge success. The turnover (€2,664,500)
as well as the average price (€34,604) were
higher than ever before. With €3 80,000 the
stallion French
Kiss, spectacularly shown under saddle
by Hans
Peter Minderhoud, was the price highlight of the evening.
A Russian invester is the new owner of the 2004 World
Young Horse champion, who is by Florestan x Donnerhall.
In the “paardensportcentrum Lichtenvoorde” hang
a Italian atmosphere Saturday night. Harley world stables
provided some classic Italian motor cycles for decoration
of the busy and with Italian flags decorated VIP gallery.
Harley World stables also donated a painting of ‘Herman
Brood’ with his rock ‘n roll idol Elvis
Presley. The revenue (€ 3,300) was for the Dutch
Cancer Society.
The horses were sold to various counties. Several
horses were sold to the United states like an eight
year old Now or Never x Ladalco, a four year old Laomedon
x Ferro and two foals of Florencio. Also a large delegation
out of Germany was present and bought for example a
yearling stallion of Lingh a four year old Gribaldi
x Facet and spectacular moving two year old stallion
of Conteur x Alabaster. Four horses were sold to Sweden.
After the successful auction the organisator of the
Performance Plus Elite Auction , Reesink Horses announced
that they will continue with this success formula.
Next year Performance Plus will celebrate his first
lustrum.
