First Class, Price Highlight 2009 Westfalian Elite Foal Auction

First Class became the price highlight of the 2009 Westfalian Elite Foal Auction held in Munster-Handorf, Germany, August 15-16, 2009. The bay colt by Fidertanz out of a Sir Donnerhall dam achieved a knock down price of 36,000 euro. The foal is bred by Bernhard Ilting-Reuke from Borken.
The second most expensive foal was Estostar, a bay Estobar x Furst Piccolo colt bred and presented for auction by Sabine Ludwichowski. This colt sold for 30,000 euro. Schlauschnacker, a liver chestnut colt by Swarovski x Florestan I bred by Margret Hartmann sold for 24,000 euro.
Finale (by Florestan x Stedinger) was the highest filly. She sold for 13,000 euro. VIP-Lady (by Vivaldi x Florestan) sold for 12,000 euro to Sven Rothenberger. The most expensive pony foal was A New Star, by A Gorgeous x Charm of Nibelungen. It sold for 21,000 euro.
115 colts were sold, The average price for them was 6,609 euro. 60 fillies were sold for an average price of 5,853 €. 19 pony foals sold for an average price of 3,400 €.
